Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Expertise in operating conventional machinery including miller-driller, lathe, and drill press
• Ability to setup a prototyping machine shop with equipment such as an EZ-Trak and similar cnc.
• Take a lead position in optimizing the manufacturing process of various parts based on quantity, cost, and schedule.
• Extensive experience in working with aluminum and plastics such as delrin and UHMW
• Ability to study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
• Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or work piece as guides for subsequent machining.
• Extensive experience with all aspects of tooling and machine setups
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut
• Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications
• Fit and/or assemble parts into assembly as needed.

Requirements:
8 plus years experience, strong communication skills, welding license a plus.
